I am happy to finally be able to announce the name of the international opera house where I will be making my role debut as Desdemona in Verdi’s Otello. This summer, I will be singing at the gorgeous Palacio de Bellas Artes, home to the Compañía Nacional de Ópera of Mexico City. To sing in a house where Callas, Del Monaco, and many other greats sang historical performances is a great honor for me. Furthermore, as a Cuban-American, I am proud to debut in one of Latin America’s most emblematic theaters. I am incredibly grateful to my friend and European and Latin American manager, Dr. Emilio Pons, acting in collaboration with my American management, Uzan International Artists, for making this debut possible. Soon I will be able to release details about two other important European engagements for next season.
